AMERA, Which was an acronym for Africa and Middle East Refugee Assistance, has now changed its name to AMERA INTERNATIONAL as its focus of work will be global. Until the end of 2013, AMERA supported the direct delivery of legal aid programming in Egypt through the operations of AMERA Egypt. We remain thankful to the dozens of volunteers, staff and refugees who contributed to the many successes of AMERA Egypt.
